Hillah: A force from the Organized Crime Control Bureau in Babylon arrested two individuals in possession of light weapons and ammunition they were attempting to transport in a vehicle outside the western Hamza district, south of Hillah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Director of the Organized Crime Bureau in Babylon, Colonel Yasser Witwit, stated, “Information led today, Sunday, to the arrest of two individuals involved in the trafficking of unlicensed light weapons and ammunition. They were arrested while transporting the weapons out of the western Hamza district, south of Hillah.”

He added that the police had transferred the accused to the relevant authorities for investigation, and the seized items were confiscated.
