Baghdad: Police arrested two individuals accused of defrauding citizens by using fake medical reports to collect donations.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Baghdad Al-Karkh Police Command stated that they had identified two people defrauding citizens in Al-Khadraa district, under the pretext of collecting donations for a patient’s treatment.
They added, “They were stopped, and after examining their official documents, it was discovered that the reports were fake and without authorization. They were arrested, the reports were seized, and they were transferred to the police station along with the seized items. The necessary legal measures were taken against them according to the law.”
