Two Indian Air Force fighters crashed

Baghdad, Two fighters of the Indian Air Force, a Russian-made Su-30 and a French-made Mirage 2000, crashed in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh today, Saturday, INA reported.

The Agency said, quoting military sources, that “the two planes took off from the Gwalior Air Base in Madhya Pradesh, as part of the exercises taking place there.”

The Agency said: “The investigation court of the Air Force is in the process of determining whether there was a collision or not.”

According to the sources, there were two pilots on board the “Su-30” and one pilot on board the “Mirage-2000” at the moment of the disaster, and initial reports indicate that two of the pilots are safe, while an Indian Air Force helicopter headed to the location of the third pilot.
