– Two Iraqis were killed and four others were injured last night when a residential building collapsed in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

According to a source in the Turkish police, a gas explosion in the three-storey building in the Turkish capital, Ankara, led to the collapse of part of it, which led to the death of a father and his child, two Iraqis residing in the capital, Ankara, and the injury of 4 others who were transferred to a hospital in the capital for treatment.

In his statements from the scene of the accident, Wasib Shaheen, the governor of the capital, expressed his hope that there would be no other people under the rubble of the collapsed part of the building, ruling out that at the same time, as he indicated that they are putting all possibilities to work on it.

The Governor of Ankara indicated that the building, which includes 11 apartments, some of which are inhabited and others are unoccupied, is old and was included in the urban transformation program in the capital.
