Kut Detachments of the Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department in Wasit Police managed to arrest two suspects of drug trafficking and abuse, in a security operation carried out in Taj al-Din district, in the north of the province.

A source in the Wasit Police told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the two defendants were seized in their possession various narcotic substances, and they were criminalized according to the provisions of Articles 28 and 32 of the P.C., and they were referred to the judiciary.
