Two persons accused of seducing citizens to sell their human organs arrested in Baghdad

Baghdad The security forces arrested two suspects who lured citizens to sell their human organs in Baghdad.

A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated: The Directorate of Combating Crimes in Baghdad has arrested two suspects who are tempting citizens to sell their human organs (kidneys) in one of the neighboring countries of Iraq for a sum of money of (12) million dinars.

It added: They were arrested in flagrante delicto, and when interrogation was conducted with them, they confessed that they had traded with human organs in exchange for sums of money.

It pointed out: The recording of their statements of initial and judicial confession, and the investigative judge decided to arrest them in accordance with the provisions of Article (18) of the Human Organ Transplantation Act, in order to obtain their just punishment.
