Diyala: Two individuals have been arrested for their involvement in an attempted murder of a government official in Diyala. The suspects were apprehended following a violent altercation related to a dispute over the installation of an electrical power transformer, which resulted in injuries to the Deputy Director of Diyala Electricity Distribution, Engineer Saad Hussein Radam Al-Tamimi, in the Muqdadiyah District.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Haitham Al-Shammari, the Director of Media for Diyala Police, stated that a security team was formed to investigate the incident. Through search and investigation operations, the suspects identified as (M, Q, A) and (A, A, A) were arrested.

The suspects have been charged under Article 405 for attempted murder, and all necessary legal measures have been taken to ensure they receive appropriate punishment.
