Anbar: Anbar Police Command announced the arrest of two individuals caught in the act of practicing witchcraft and sorcery inside their home, and the seizure of materials and tools used in these practices.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Command indicated that, as part of security efforts to curb the phenomenon of witchcraft and sorcery and combat its practitioners, detachments from the Hit Anti-Crime Division were able to arrest two individuals in the act of practicing witchcraft and sorcery inside their home.

The statement added that various materials and tools used in these practices were seized from them, and they were detained in accordance with Article (1/456/A) of the Penal Code, to receive their just punishment according to the law.
