Diyala: A security force from Diyala Police arrested two suspects accused of tearing up pictures of some parliamentary election candidates.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police source revealed that the suspects were apprehended in Bani Saad district, located southwest of Baqubah.

The source further informed that legal measures have been initiated against the suspects, and they will be referred to the judiciary to receive their appropriate punishment. The incident underscores the tensions surrounding the parliamentary elections in the region.
