Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of two suspects, one of whom is a girl, who were found in possession of crystal meth and an unlicensed pistol in Baghdad. The suspects were apprehended while riding a motorcycle during a routine patrol by the Second Sadr Police Department, which had set up surprise checkpoints in the area.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry revealed that the search led to the discovery of bags containing 50 grams of crystal meth in various sizes. The suspects have been transferred to the Rusafa Investigations Department of the General Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances for further legal proceedings.
