Baghdad: The U.S. military announced on Monday that it has initiated a new wave of strikes against Iran, marking the third consecutive night of military action.

According to Iraqi News Agency, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) released a statement indicating that these strikes were carried out under the directives of President Donald Trump. The military operations are intended to cause significant losses to Iranian forces and diminish their ability to target shipping in the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
