Dubai: The UAE Journalists Association is conducting a training course focused on modern journalism strategies in the digital age. The initiative, titled "Modern Journalism Strategies: Enhancing Credibility in the Digital Age," is held in collaboration with the International Organization of Journalists and Media in the Netherlands. The event takes place at the association's headquarters in Dubai and sees participation from selected journalists and media professionals across various UAE media institutions, along with the association's president, Fadila Al-Muaini.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, this course is part of the association's broader training program designed to equip journalists with the necessary skills to navigate the rapidly evolving media landscape. It focuses on producing accurate and credible content amidst the challenges presented by the digital environment and misinformation.
The course is led by Khaled Bakdash, president of the International Organization of Journalists and Media. He highlighted key challenges in modern journalism and stressed the importance of maintaining professional and ethical standards, verifying information, managing sources, and employing best practices to build public trust and enhance media content credibility.
