New York: The United Nations confirmed that Israel has been preventing the entry of all types of aid into the Gaza Strip for 50 days, and that the impact on the Palestinians is “very serious.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, UN spokesman St©phane Dujarric stated during a press conference at UN headquarters in New York that the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) confirmed that no food, fuel, medicine, or other essential supplies have entered Gaza for 50 days.

He added that food stocks have decreased “dangerously” during this period, and medicines, medical supplies, and vaccines are running out.

He pointed out that children and adults are suffering from hunger, and the health system in the Strip is on the verge of collapse. He also stated that “hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced, and Israeli attacks on humanitarian and health workers have increased again.”
