Baghdad The United Nations Mission in Iraq / UNAMI / stressed the need for state institutions, including the Justice Council, to work without hindrance.
It stressed in a statement that the right to peaceful protest is an essential element of democracy, noting that it is equally important to confirm constitutional compliance and respect for state institutions.
It said: State institutions must work without hindrance in the service of the Iraqi people, including the Justice Council.
