Hillah: A Babylon police patrol discovered the body of an unidentified young man on Friday evening near Kish Bridge in the Nile district, located north of Hillah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Zaher Mohammed, the Media Director of Babylon Traffic Police, stated that the body lacked any identification papers, rendering the young man unidentified at this time. The initial assessment suggests that the individual may have been a victim of a hit-and-run incident, as it is believed he was run over and subsequently abandoned at the scene. The police have since transferred the body to the forensic medicine department in an effort to determine the man’s identity.
