Unidentified persons burned the pipes of the project to expand and line the al-Yahudia River in Hilla late on Wednesday evening.
A source in the Babylon police told NINA reporter that unidentified persons burned the pipes for expanding and lining al-Yahudia River, which runs through the middle of the city of Hilla, and which is being implemented by Al Sorouh Company.
He added that civil defense teams rushed to the scene in an attempt to extinguish the fire.
