Kufa: The University of Kufa is in discussions with the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils to explore ways of enhancing scientific and research cooperation. The President of the University of Kufa, Alaa Al-Mawla, recently met with Dr. Abdulmajid Benamara, Secretary-General of the Federation, along with his delegation, to deliberate on potential collaborations aimed at supporting scientific research and fostering innovation. The meeting underscored the mutual interest in developing academic partnerships between the two institutions.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Dr. Al-Mawla highlighted the university’s dedication to strengthening ties with Arab scientific entities. During the discussions, Benamara provided an overview of the Federation’s key programs and initiatives, emphasizing its significant role in advancing Arab research diplomacy. The Federation, which operates under the auspices of the League of Arab States, is committed to executing initiatives that focus on research alliances, promoting green innovation, the development of research centers, and supporting scientific excellence across Arab universities.
