Baghdad Media reported that the Israeli warplanes launched violent raids on the Gaza Strip, at dawn on Monday, after about two hours of relative calm.
The raids targeted crossroads and the main water and sewage networks in western Gaza City.
An Israeli army spokesman said, “Fighter aircrafts carried out a large scale raids on targets all over the Gaza Strip.”
Loud explosions were heard throughout the Gaza Strip as a result of the strikes.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli warplanes targeted locations from the south of the Gaza Strip to the north of it.
