Sanaa: US aircraft have launched the most intense series of airstrikes on Houthi sites since the military operations began in Yemen a month ago. This development marks a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the airstrikes consisted of 15 targeted attacks on Houthi sites and several training camps. The targeted areas were reported to house large numbers of missile launchers and experts. The strikes were concentrated in central Yemen, specifically in Al Bayda Governorate, and for the first time, in Al Zaher District to the south. One of the notable targets was a Houthi gathering near a government complex, where platforms used for launching missiles were destroyed.
Sources confirmed on Tuesday that the Houthi group acknowledged the death of their leader “Al-Dharafi” due to a US airstrike in Saada. The acknowledgment of Al-Dharafi’s death signifies a considerable impact on the Houthi leadership as a result of these airstrikes.
