US Army: The Houthis launched 3 drones and a ballistic missile towards the Gulf of Aden

Baghdad, The US Central Command announced on Wednesday that the Yemeni “Ansar Allah” movement (Houthis) launched 3 drones and a ballistic missile towards the Gulf of Aden during the past two days, without causing casualties or damage.

The Central Command said in a statement published on the ‘X’ platform this morning that the Houthis on Monday evening launched three drones towards the Gulf of Aden from areas under their control in Yemen.

The statement added that a coalition ship successfully responded to one of the drones, while US Central Command forces responded to the second drone, while the third crashed in the Gulf of Aden, without any casualties or damage being reported by American, coalition, or commercial ships.

The statement stated that later, yesterday, Tuesday, the Houthis launched an anti-ship ballistic missile over the Gulf of Aden, but no casualties or damage were reported either.

Both the United States and Britain accuse the Houthis of threatening freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and the
Gulf of Aden, while Ansar Allah asserts that it only targets ships linked to Israel in the context of supporting the Gaza Strip, which is subjected to a bloody war and a siege of civilians imposed by Israel.
