US Central Command Confirms Strict Enforcement of Blockade on Iran


Washington: The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on Saturday that no ship has crossed the blockade zone imposed on Iran in the past two months without permission from its forces.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the command stated in a press release that its forces have rerouted 100 commercial vessels in the past 60 days since the United States reinstated the “steel wall” blockade on Iran. It emphasized that no vessel has transited the blockade zone without authorization from US forces. US service members remain fully focused on this mission, underscoring the comprehensive enforcement of the blockade.
