US Central Command Takes Action to Enforce Iran Embargo

Baghdad: Central Command The US Central Command announced that it had altered the course of 68 ships and disabled 3 others to ensure compliance with the embargo on Iran. The Central Command stated in a press release, “As of August 21, US forces have altered the course of 68 commercial vessels, disabled 3 vessels, and boarded 3 others to verify compliance with the embargo.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, these measures are part of a broader strategy to enforce international sanctions against Iran.
