Sulaimaniyah: The United States strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Kor Mor gas field in Sulaimaniyah and demanded that the perpetrators be held accountable.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the US "joins the Kurdistan Regional Government and other Iraqi partners in calling on the Iraqi government to take immediate action to hold the perpetrators of this terrorist attack accountable. This is the latest in a series of attempts by malicious actors to destabilize Iraq and target US investments in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq."

She added, "We are ready to support efforts to protect this vital infrastructure, and we will continue to emphasize the importance of Iraq upholding its sovereignty in the face of attempts to undermine it, and ensuring that all weapons, especially drones, missiles, and projectiles, remain under state control."
