Baghdad: The exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar experienced a slight increase on Monday, coinciding with the opening of the stock exchange in Baghdad markets. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the dollar saw an increase in Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya stock exchanges, reaching 142,900 dinars per 100 dollars, compared to 142,650 dinars per 100 dollars on Sunday morning. Selling prices also rose at currency exchange shops in Baghdad's local markets, reaching 143,500 dinars per 100 dollars, while the buying price reached 142,250 dinars per 100 dollars. In Erbil, the dollar also rose, with the selling price reaching 143,400 dinars per 100 dollars and the buying price reaching 142,400 dinars per 100 dollars.
