Washington: The US House of Representatives has voted against a resolution to impeach President Donald Trump, with the vote tally reaching 232 against and 147 in favor, while 47 members abstained. This decision marks yet another failed attempt to impeach the president.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the resolution was introduced by Representative Al Green in August. Green’s resolution accused President Trump of transforming immigration enforcement agencies into a corrupt, quota-based, and unaccountable armed police force.
