Washington: US President Donald Trump announced the imposition of tariffs of up to 25% on imports of cars not manufactured in the United States. The tariffs are scheduled to take effect on April 2.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump stated, “We will impose a 25% tariff on all cars not manufactured in the United States. We will start at a minimum of 2.5%, which is the current baseline, and work our way up to 25%.”
