Baghdad: For the third week in a row, America does not import crude oil from Iraq. Data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) released Sunday showed that the United States did not import any shipments of Iraqi crude oil last week, marking the third consecutive week without imports.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, US imports of Iraqi oil averaged zero for the weeks ending June 27, July 3, and July 10, 2026, after averaging 71,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the week ending June 19 and 107,000 bpd in the week ending June 5.

The data also showed that Canada was the top supplier of crude oil to the United States, followed by Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, Libya, and Brazil. No oil imports were recorded from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, or Nigeria.
