President Trump revealed that Israel and Hamas had signed the first phase of his peace plan. This initial phase involves the withdrawal of Israeli forces to agreed-upon lines as a prelude to achieving a lasting peace.

Hamas has also announced a ceasefire agreement that includes the exchange of prisoners and the entry of humanitarian aid. They have called on guarantor parties, primarily the United States and Arab and Islamic countries, to ensure Israel's adherence to the terms of the agreement.
