Kirkuk: A Toyota Land Cruiser loaded with alcoholic beverages was seized by detachments from a checkpoint within the Salah al-Din Police Command in the Tuz district, south of Kirkuk. The beverages were professionally hidden inside the engine and body of the vehicle and were intended for smuggling through the checkpoints.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a police source stated that legal measures were taken following the seizure. The driver and the seized items have been referred to the competent authorities for further action.
