Diwaniyah: A man wanted under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law has been apprehended at the Afak checkpoint in Diwaniyah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Diwaniyah Police confirmed the arrest, stating that the individual’s name matched the wanted lists issued by the Najaf Governorate Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate. The arrest was made in accordance with the provisions of Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law.

The authorities have taken the necessary legal procedures against the arrested individual, preparing to transfer him to the requesting authority to complete the investigations.
