Basra: Basra police arrested a number of individuals wanted under the Anti-Terrorism Law.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Basra Police Command stated in a statement: “Detachments from Qibla Police Department, in cooperation with al-Mohandessin Police Station and al-Mohandessin Intelligence, were able to seize seven pistols inside a vehicle belonging to individuals accused of illegal arms trafficking.”

It added: “The suspects fled the scene, while the vehicle’s owner, who is wanted under Article 4 of the Anti-Terrorism Law, was arrested and legal action was taken against him.”
