Maysan: A wanted man has been arrested in Maysan province, with authorities seizing approximately 10,000 narcotic pills from his possession, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrest was executed by a unit from the 1st Battalion of the 1st Brigade of the Rapid Response Command. The operation was conducted under Article 28 of the drug laws, leading to the confiscation of 10,000 Tramadol pills from the suspect.

The ministry's statement further detailed that this operation was part of an ongoing law enforcement campaign in the province. The campaign is being conducted in coordination with the Maysan Anti-Narcotics Directorate and involves the participation of the Rapid Response Intelligence Department.
