Washington: The United States announced today, Friday, the addition of four entities in three European countries-Germany, Italy, and Greece-to its list of global terrorist organizations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the US State Department highlighted that anarchist extremists have conducted campaigns of terror in both the United States and Europe, aiming to undermine the foundations of Western civilization through their attacks. The department stated its intent to classify these four anti-fascist groups as Foreign Terrorist Organizations.

In a related development, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed on the X platform that the State Department's decision aligns with the President's commitment to combating the campaign of political violence orchestrated by the Antifa movement. He indicated that the designation of the four groups as Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Specially Designated Global Terrorists is a step toward curtailing their influence.

Rubio further emphasized that the United States is determined to employ all available measures to safeguard the nation from these groups, which he described as anti-American, anti-capitalist, and anti-Christian terrorist entities.
