Wasit: Employees of the Wasit Agriculture Directorate held a protest on Tuesday demanding the return of their allocated land plots, which they claim were seized and appropriated for investment projects.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the protesters demanded the restoration of their rights to the land designated for their staff, alleging corruption and violations of their rights during the allocation and investment procedures.

They called on the relevant authorities to intervene, investigate the land issue, and ensure justice for the employees by restoring their rights within the legal framework.
