Basra: Basra heavy and medium crude recorded a loss during the past week by more than 4%. Basra heavy crude closed in its last session, yesterday, Friday, with an increase of 44 cents to reach $74.98, but it recorded weekly losses of $3.45, equivalent to 4.4%.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Basra medium crude closed in its last session, also with an increase of 44 cents to reach $78.23, and recorded a weekly loss of $3.45, or 4.22%. The two benchmark crudes, Brent and West Texas Intermediate, recorded weekly losses as investors await the customs tariff that the United States will impose on Canada and Mexico.
