Geneva: Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, reiterated the organization’s call for the delivery of aid and health supplies to Gaza, the lifting of the blockade, and an immediate ceasefire. The WHO Director-General urged the protection of healthcare and all patients and health workers in Gaza.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Ghebreyesus indicated that attacks on hospitals in Gaza could shut down facilities and prevent patients from seeking healthcare.
