Diyala: Diyala Police arrested a woman for theft in the old Baquba market in the center of the province.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Police Command stated in a press release that patrols from the emergency response units, with support from the Diyala Anti-Crime Department, arrested a woman accused of theft after a series of incidents in the old Baquba market area.

The statement added that the suspect was arrested in a well-planned ambush, following diligent surveillance and careful monitoring. A number of stolen items were found in her possession. Legal procedures were initiated against her, and she was referred to the relevant authorities to complete the investigation.
