Mosul: Security forces arrested a woman Sunday evening who was attempting to smuggle a quantity of narcotic pills into the city of Mosul.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, police officers became suspicious of the woman at a checkpoint south of Mosul. During a search, they found 2,000 narcotic pills hidden inside a bag.

The woman was arrested, and the pills were confiscated, pending referral to the relevant authorities.
