Babylon: A woman in her forties lost her life after being accidentally shot while her husband was cleaning a weapon in the Haswa area of the Alexandria district, located north of Hillah, the capital of Babylon Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, Director of Media for Babylon Police, confirmed the incident. He stated that the police have transferred the body to the forensic medicine department and have commenced an investigation to gather more information surrounding the circumstances of the unfortunate event.
