Baghdad: Defense Ministry spokesman Yahya Rasool confirmed during today’s press conference of the Security Media Cell that there are directives from Commander-in-Chief Ali Falih al-Zaidi to develop air defense operations and establish a Desert Operations Command.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Rasool emphasized the importance of enhancing the country’s air defense capabilities.
