Baghdad: Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yarallah, discussed cooperation between Iraq and South Korea in the areas of training and logistical support with the military attach© of the Republic of Korea, Colonel Son Jang-soo. A statement from the Ministry of Defense highlighted the meeting, which took place at the Army General Staff headquarters.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions revolved around prospects for coordination and joint military cooperation, particularly focusing on training, logistical support, and the aerospace and defense industries. The aim is to enhance the capabilities of the Iraqi armed forces. Colonel Son Jang-soo reaffirmed South Korea's commitment to sustaining military cooperation with Iraq.
