Baquba: A young man died from electrocution in the Al-Khalis district of Diyala Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the incident occurred when the young man, hailing from the Al-Saadiya area of Al-Khalis district, attempted to climb an electricity pole to connect a surveillance camera. Unfortunately, he was electrocuted during the process, leading to his immediate death.

The police source confirmed that the victim’s body has been transferred to the forensic medicine department. Security forces are currently conducting an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
