Amara: A young man was killed in an armed attack by unknown gunmen on the ring road in Amara, the capital of Maysan Governorate.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a security source confirmed the death of the young man after being shot. A police force responded to the scene, cordoning off the area and transferring the body to the forensic medicine department. Authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident and identify the party responsible.
