Hillah: Babylon River Police recovered the body of a young man today from the Euphrates River, which runs through the Hindiya district, north of Hillah. The recovery operation was conducted in the Al-Mahnawiyah area, part of the Hindiya Dam district.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Babylon Police Media Director Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini stated that the River Police have transferred the body to the forensic medicine department. An investigation has been opened into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death.
