Hillah: The river police of the Babylon Police Command recovered the body of a young man on Thursday evening from the Euphrates River, which flows through the Al-Musayyib District, located north of Hillah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, Director of Media for the Babylon Police, stated that the river police successfully recovered the body of an 18-year-old man from the Jasman neighborhood in Al-Musayyib District. The body was found in the Euphrates River.

The police have transferred the body to the forensic medicine department. An investigation into the incident has been initiated to determine the circumstances surrounding the young man’s death.
