Basra: The administrative Deputy Governor of Basra, Maher al-Amiri, met with a youth delegation from the Kurdistan Region. The delegation, representing Sulaimaniyah, Duhok, Erbil, and Halabja, visited as part of an initiative titled "Ambassadors of Peace to the Plains."

According to National Iraqi News Agency, al-Amiri highlighted that Basra has experienced a notable urban and service development boom following the 25th Gulf Cup. He emphasized that Iraq remains a united country, stretching from Zakho to Faw.

Al-Amiri stated that Basra welcomes everyone, conveying a message of peace and peaceful coexistence with all visitors.
