Kyiv:Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that both Washington and Kyiv aim to conclude the war with Russia before the onset of winter. This announcement came following what he described as a “positive” meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump during the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Iraqi News Agency, Zelenskyy conveyed in a social media statement that the meeting with President Trump was both positive and productive. He emphasized that the United States and Ukraine are united in their desire to end the Russian conflict before winter.

The discussions between the leaders also included potential de-escalation measures that could facilitate diplomatic solutions to the ongoing crisis.
