Baghdad: The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, held discussions with Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, the Head of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, concerning a number of joint judicial and legal issues between the two nations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Supreme Judicial Council released a statement indicating that the Head of the Iranian Judiciary, Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, welcomed Judge Faiq Zaidan and his accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on several judicial and legal matters and explored ways to enhance cooperation mechanisms between the judicial authorities in Iraq and Iran.
