Sulaymaniyah: The Border Forces Command announced the arrest of 16 infiltrators of Asian nationalities who attempted to illegally cross the border in Sulaymaniyah.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were part of ongoing efforts by the Border Forces Command to combat infiltration and smuggling activities in the region.

The command detailed in a statement that the arrests were carried out in two separate operations by the Third Border Brigade within the First Region Border Command, within the administrative borders of the Sulaymaniyah Governorate. Following the arrests, a formal report was prepared, and necessary legal measures were taken against the detained individuals.
