Baghdad The Ministry of Immigration and Displacement announced today the voluntary return of / 307 / displaced persons from the displacement camps in Al- Khazar axis (37 km) east of Mosul to their original residential areas liberated from the terrorist grip of ISIS in the areas of Nineveh Governorate.

The Director General of the Branches Affairs Department in the Ministry, Ali Abbas Jahakir, said in a statement that, “At the direction of the Minister of Immigration and Displacement, Ivan Faiq Jabro, a new batch of displaced persons has been returned, about (60) families and by (307) displaced from the Khazar axis camps in the Erbil governorate in the Kurdistan region to their original areas in (Al-Mithaq District, Al-Quds District, Badush, Al-Nahrawan, Zummar, Hatra, Al-Zahraa neighborhood, Al-Ansar, Wadi Hajar, Al-Sharqat, Al-Obour, Al-Hermat, Tal Afar, Al-Arbajiya, Bab Lagash, Tal Al-Rumman, Al-Mamoun, Agrarian Reform, Al-Boer village, Umm Hajrah village, Al-Quds and Al-Hamidat (affiliated to the Nineveh governorate).

“The return of the displaced families came after completing the security check for them in coordination with the security forces and local governments, and they were transported to their original areas of residence with all their belongings,” Jahakir added.
